As of September 1, 2020, all certification authorities have reduced the maximum validity period of SSL certificates to 1 year (398 days). This is due to the decision of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to consider untrusted two-year certificates and is aimed at improving the security of websites.
All previously purchased certificates will continue to be valid until the end of the validity period, and you do not need to reissue them. Further extension will be possible for a period of 1 year.
We have already updated the available order dates for all our certificates and will soon offer a new product - a subscription to SSL certificates. In this case, you will be able to pay for a one-time certificate for up to 7 years, fixing its cost at the time of purchase. Then each year you will need to validate the domain / organization and install a new certificate. We will send you reminders in advance if you need to install a new certificate.
